What's a Gad?
A Gad is a small, typically geometrically-shaped stones that can make or break a person's life. Once they make contact with certain people, they begin to absorb mechanical objects nearby and even absorb the person who activated them in some cases, transforming into large mechanical creatures.
Lite Novels
This series was started as four light novels written by Umoto Kyouhei, illustrated by Izuna Yoshitsune. They were published by Media Factory, and printed by MF Bunko J from May 24 to September 25 of 2003. These books were never translated out of Japanese.
Sparks
Seemingly the original manga concept of Gad Guard, Sparks was a doujinshi distributed at a couple conventions in Japan. There are 2 volumes, both written and illustrated by Izuna Yoshitsune. Sadly, these also apparently never made it to being translated.
